I think west coast wineberserkers have the advantage moving forward!
East coast is awake and wishes you left coast slackers would get up and start buying. I'm bored cause wine offer isn't changing fast enough.

So what did everybody buy? And how do you buy?
I am primarily targeting singles for daily drinking. I like being able to fill up a mixed case (or thereabouts, nice not to have to worry about the exact number too) to explore relatively inexpensively.
Most excited to try the Domaine Du Clos Des Fees Herve Bizuel 2002. Not the most expensive wine I purchased but it's from Languedoc Roussillon, a region I don't know well, and for $12 if I hate it I won't feel bad.

This is your moment of glory Adam. In the words of Nike (or was it Dick Van Patten?) -- just do it.

I whiffed on all the single digit stickies, but did get a 2007 Dunn Cab Magnum. Probably would've tried for the Turley had I been awake, but the tasting notes make me think it was past its prime. Also slept through the NOK magnum, oh well.

I was looking for daily drinkers, new experiences and bargains on stickies. I stayed up late and picked up some interesting things to include Clos des Fees La Petite Siberie 2003 - which was 250+ Euros in Germany....but who knows, it sounded interesting (Roussillon) and I took a flyer on it (given that I had about 30 seconds to make a decision). Two bottles at $49.
Also bought:
Pegau 2008 Domaine Des Roches Neuves Insolite Neutre Samur 2006 J. Burrier St Amour Cote De Besset 2007 Extra Toso Extra Brut 2004 Pinot Noir Reserve Sparkling Wine Jiminez Landi Seleccion Bodegas 2005 Olivier Bernstein Gevrey Chambertin 2009 Domaine Simon Bize et Fils Savigny les Beaune aux Grands Liards 2009 Nicolas Perrin Hermitage Blanc 2008
Have had good luck with Last Bottle and I've bought stuff at the last several sales - I like being able to buy 2 or 3 bottles of something and no shipping is pretty sweet.

Probably a good thing for my wallet that I missed the Bernstein Gevrey. nice haul, Brian - I probably would've jumped at the same ones you did.

Great opportunity to try new regions, styles and producers....plan was to piece together a mixed case (or as it turned out, a little more than a case). Took some fliers but most excited about the Dunn and Ataison at $15.

Didn't see that, but I'd have bought. Only other thing (that I saw) that tempted me was the Jonata Cab Franc.

I bit, I've got a mini vert of Jade Mtn in my cellar. This adds to it. Was able to pick the others up for less than a a Jackson though.
