Yes, tasted in January this year, obviously a pre-bottling sample, lovely wine destined to be of very high quality. Ollivier said he planned to bottle in November this year, so the usual two years on the lees.
Also in 2009, Les Gras Moutons is pretty smart, and watch out for a new granite cuvée, from granite around Chateau Thébeaud, in this vintage. When tasted in January - so again a sample from cuve rather than a finished wine - this promised a lovely, somewhat richer style than the Clisson. Bottling will be, according to Marc Ollivier (speaking in Jan this year) “in a year or two”.
