Re: What SCOTCH are you drinking?
Bought 4 bottles of the GoT Lagavulin for $25 and I have to say that it is the best bargain for Scotch drinkers who like smokey, peaty ones. Poured one GoT and one regular 16 year old, and I cannot tell the difference. So, go for it, if not for you, for a nice inexpensive gift.

Re: How should a wine age???
Noah, here is my answer to your 2nd question. Some "small" wine collectors, and I am a couple of notches below that, get more utility out of owning a wine rather than drinking that wine. So if people post that a wine tastes young that means more storing, owning, and bragging rights to owni...

Dan, some people will even decant Champgne to let it open up. I just open it up, leave it in the fridge, take it out for 30 ...

I do not drink them on a regular basis due to price, but I drink decent Champagne routinely, as long as the price is right. Both wines smelled fantastic u...

Hello, I have emailed Hennessy for a possible release year but nothing so far, so I give this a try.
It is a bottle of Hennessy Paradis with serial number L3 239 10 00099.
If anyone could help, much appreciated.
Thanks,
Otto

Anyone had the Pappy 23? Is that a white whale? It’s oaky... I have some of the 23 from stitzel weller juice and it’s great but you have to really like oak. I have a hard time differentiating between any Schraders. RBS, CCS, ToKalon, LPV etc, they all taste the same to me. We had this at Fleming's with a nice steak. The wine is excellent as all the other Schraders from that vintage. Has anyone tried the Old Forester 1910? I like it. Not as strong (harsh) as the 1920, with a little sweetness on the finish. Good substitute for Blanton's.
