I will be a detractor. I thought it was pretty good. It def is soft, but I didnt find it overly sweet or jammy. Easy cellar defender and crowd pleaser. Different strokes, I guess.

But you're not really buying Karl Lawrence. It is the same name. But different vineyards and different wine maker. Loved the original and thats why i went to Trujillo Same vineyards (for the most part) and winemaker as Karl Lawrence. Unfortunately, not the same price. Right. But it's very tasty.

06 has more backbone. 09 is richer and fatter, but not flabby. Two very different wines. I like the crispness of 06 but 09 is no slouch

I noticed I'm rapidly drinking through (and sharing) my Rosé champagnes, and almost bit on the NV Hugues Godme Rosé. Fortunately, I checked my pending deliveries on CT first, and discovered I'll be drowning in champagne sometime in the near future. No soup (or Godme) for you (me)! More for you... C...

Opened a 2015 this weekend. Very well made bottle of wine. More modern in style. Rich. Perfumed. Great mouth feel with long finish. Kicking myself for not buying more during berserkerfest.

Non champ related - the 2013 Dunn Howell Mountain Mag was offered at a significant discount to WSPro. The 750, not as much. I took down a Mag. will open in 2075.

Took a mixed case. Prefer this to Quivet and priced reasonably. Never had the Semillion but took a flyer.

Patrick - they are dense syrahs, which arent shy with the fruit, acidity and structure. Very perfumed.

This thread killed me. I went from having a half case of DP in my cellar, to have 2 mixed cases on order in varying sizes from 375ml to 1.5L. Great. I even signed up for Champagne Warrior.

I passed this year. Just too many offerings, and also discovered Envoyer Champagne offerings. Good wine, but as I've said before, I think his Myriad label edges this out though.
