1st: all 4 are uniquely different and wonderful. At this level (and price) it’s really which chateau you personally love. 2nd: Mouton. Otherwise this is a killer tier with numerous great great chateaus. Probably go Las Cases, or pichon Baron 3rd: Palmer. This is really a super 2nd in quality so clea...

Now I want to see for myself. It would be interesting to include it in a blind Northern Rhône styled Syrah tasting. Sometime’s it’s interesting to compare styles and value with blind tastings, but I think you would be leaving experience on the table using Allemand in a blind tasting. Whether it’s w...

I find Poulsard to be a cross between pinot and merlot (with the pluminess and mid palate weight).

Definitely like you said, not expensive or life changing but expressive, easy to drink, goes well with food, and a delight most nights.

I think the mags are FCFS..

PM if you are interested.. prefer someone who takes the whole/most of the allocation, and i can just give you the log in to order/ship to yourself.

Edit:

Good thing we packed a btl of bdx!

2015 Clos Badon - young st emilion but solid acidity with blackberry and plum notes. A touch of oak noticeable but in check. Not bad for sipping on the patio in Moorea.
