FS: Quilceda Creek vertical [Update: Sold]
Like a lot of us here, I probably have more wine than I need. It never concerned me much until I realized that at the rate I'm presently drinking cab I won't run out until the 23rd century. So, I've decided to prune producers, starting with Quilceda Creek. I have a decent vertical running from 2003 ...

Re: Liquid Farm Champagne?!?
My favorite private label Champagne was a very bling-y bottling called Discobitch with sequins spelling out the name. It was made by Tarlant for the band of the same name and, despite the bling and name, was quite nice (they apparently made more than the band wanted for their own use so it was rele...

2008, 2010 Bond five packs (OWC)
Selling two complete Bond five-packs in the original wooden case, purchased by me on release from the winery and stored in temperature controlled cellar since then. In fact, that's why I'm selling these now, I'm consolidating and downsizing the storage. That and I don't have much occasion to drink C...

Re: What Bedrock wine are you drinking tonight?
Not going to lie. I've reluctantly concluded I don't love how Morgan treats syrah. But this 2011 Bedrock Griffin's Lair still is pretty great. Loads of black fruit, roasted meat, black pepper, and olive. And an incredible velvety mouth feel. This still has legs, crazy legs ahead of it. If I had any ...

2010 Dom Pérignon?
Received my first offer for 2010 Dom Pérignon (on pre-arrival). Has anyone tasted it? Reviewed it? There's nothing in CT, and a quick and dirty web search revealed nothing. Incidentally, it appears LVMH is trying to set a new price point here in the States of $180. Which is a bit of a stretch when 2...

2014 Under the Wire Bedrock Vineyard. I'll confess, I still don't know what to think of the Under the Wire wines, but based on my experience, I think they reward a lot of time in the bottle. This was my last 2014 Bedrock Vineyard, and it had settled down a bit, a lot of the rough edges worn down ......

Kinda shocked that this didn't engender more discussion. Personally, I jumped all over this. I drink a lot of Champagne and sparkling wine, but I've never done a dosage trial. And I'm very excited about this even, which adds a unique dynamic to a zoom tasting.

The bankruptcy is still pending. In fact, I amended my claim today. Like most customers who paid for but not receive wine, I did not assert that my claim was entitled to priority. It seems that was a mistake. I should have asserted that my claim was entitled to priority under Section 507(a) because ...

Acker's February 7 auction. It's lot 409. Estimate is $40K - $55K.
There's a lot of large format stuff at that auction, including methuselahs of 1996 Dom Perignon Rose, imperials of Yquem, etc.
