My sense is buying wine for the birth year of a child is more for the parent and less for the child, who may or may not really care. You will get a lot more out of buying wine from the year you were married. ^^^^^This!!! Although my girls now 27 & 25 finally got into wine about 2-3 years ago.

Had a 2017 Bedrock Old Vine Zin tonight. This is a top 2 daily drinking QPR for me. The other would be the Bedrock Syrah........YMMV.........

2017 OVZ drinking very well after an hour decant. This is really hitting its stride.

The Gabriel StandArt was our first decent wine glass. We are now a Grassl and Glasvin house. The Grassl 1855 is my go to glass since I drink mostly reds.

Had the '13 Dolinsek Heritage last night. Dark and a bit brooding on opening, but after an hour in the decanter it showed more blueberry and boysenberry fruit, with clove, licorice, and black pepper. I received mine. I still don’t understand why RM does not send an e-mail with the tracking info when it’s actually shipped like so many other wineries do. I have mentioned this to Will over the years.
