Wasn't this talked about in The Winemakers podcast? I think Cameron Diaz is in on this.

My birth year sucks (1987), though I've had a couple nice 1987 wines (old ESJ, Dunn Howell Mountain). But I'm no longer actively seeking anything out.

Have had both the Abtsberg and Herrenberg myself. Abtsberg is a little reserved, but Herrenberg is showing quite well. Both delicious.

2019 Old Vine Zinfandel. Maybe a little less expressive on the nose than my last bottle but good juice as always.

Bedrock has only missed one vintage (2017) with Monte Rosso. They got back in and made Zinfandel and Cabernet in 2018.

Was just reading through some of it. Given that lots of people here post on the Ramonet wines, why was Gilman blocked from visiting their cellars?

I have plenty of Willi Schaefer. Have had Julian Haart awhile ago and wasn’t really into the wines for reasons I can’t remember.

IMHO, do it slowly and don't do it until you know what you want your cellar's core strength to be. I have thought from prior posts that you were not sure. It is great to have core strengths in wines you love (like Brian with Riesling) but I doubt it would be much fun to have a cellar full of wines ...
