Re: Stacking on top of Le Cache?

The manual says keep the top clear. That being said, I won’t store wine up top, but like Joe, I do keep empty OWCs on top, but only in the front to avoid any airflow obstruction near the wall.

That To Kalon Cab Franc sounds glorious. Is it an accurate assumption that if I didn't get any Falstaff allocated, I won't get this (even though I suspect there's a decent chance I can't afford it)? The only problem with CellarTracker is the pending delivery functionality. After seeing what temps are doing in CA, I emailed and asked to have my cases held until the end of October. I got a reply within 30 mins stating it was no problem. Very happy with the customer service at this point. Count your lucky stars. TX folks did not get the same courtesy or level of service.

Good Lord, a friend of mine just bought 4 bottles total (2 2-packs) and the shipping, to So Cal via ground, was $84. That is the most expensive shipping I have ever seen. Over $20 per bottle. Curious why everyone has SE on their list? Because youve never had it? Because its unattainable? Because its flippable? Or because youve had it and think its that good and worth the price? I’d approach it from another angle, are you on the list because you love the wine? If not, follow the sage advice above and buy only what you like whether at retail or mailing list. You may make a little, but you won’t make a hefty return flipping any of the above.

I’ve not had Bedrock’s version, but I’ve had Arnot Roberts, Beta and Di Costanzo. If I put them on a scale of 1-10 (lean to bold), I would put AR as a 2, Beta as a 5, and Di Costanzo as a 6.

I personally prefer the Beta over the Di Costanzo, but only by a hair. No losers in that race.
