Please rank which appeals most to least to you: High toned perfumes, rich and mouth-filling, solid structure. This will help ...

Hi Charlie. Doesn't look like the free shipping is applying properly with the code, at least on the 2016. I placed an order anyhow, will DM to work through it but wanted to let you know here as well.

Re: Damn it; I like ketchup with my hot dog.

I grew up in Chicago. To this day I go back home to visit and order a hot dog with ketchup-only at Portillos. Deal with it =)

btw, meatloaf sandwich is great with some basil pesto!

Has anyone had them ship to Washington? They dont have it listed but was under the impression it was a fairly open state as far as wine shipping went? Thanks! I've bought directly from them and had it shipped to Washington -- they use a 3rd party for shipping (I believe you effectively "take posses...

Re: Waiheke Island

We really enjoyed our experience at Tantalus when we were there, and stayed at MudBrick. Agree with Jim that none of the wine blew us away, but the trip was great and the area beautiful.

Some good olive oil and honey out that way as well.

Absolutely. The oeufs plats are the only thing I've ever had there -- it's so good!

Agree, it's a gorgeous drive. We took that route out to Darby, MT, after a stay at Abeja in Walla Walla.

Le Pichet has exceptional French bistro fare.
Love the oeufs plats there for breakfast. Been practicing making them at home the past few days -- still not the same.

Re: Wine Friendly Restaurants in Seattle

Seattle is definitely friendly/used to folks bringing their own wine. Expect corkage fee of $25-$30. As far as restaurant recommendations, depends on what part of town you'll be in? Downtown, east side, etc... Lots of good options for food though, no matter where you are.

Re: BerserkerDay 10 Master Thread (as featured in Forbes!) - PREVIEW DAY HAS ENDED!

I've started to prepare my wife for the reality of a steady stream of wine deliveries over the next 3 months. Last year she was on a first name basis with the UPS and FedEx delivery folks. This is why we have offsite wine storage. They sign for all the deliveries, and storage is in my name, so my S...
