I think the ZD base cabernet is very solid, but wouldn’t pay $75 for it at retail. A restaurant in the midwest I’ve been to a few times has it for around $90, which I think is a good deal post markup. Probably why it showed up here.

I had a very nice JB Neufeld 2016 Yakima valley cabernet this weekend. I followed the winemaker’s guidance and drank most of it on day two.

This is a rookie question, but does the steak ship/arrive frozen? I’d be buying it for future (likely a couple months out at least) consumption, so would be putting it in the freezer it upon arrival.

I was able to get a pack of the Sleeping Lady. Shae was super helpful. If anyone in the NYC area wasn’t able to get some I’d be happy to share a bottle at cost.

I’d also swap one (plus the price difference) for a bottle of the Diamond Mountain if anyone has interest.

I could never get there on the absurd. Hopefully bard hasn’t gone up by more than $5-10 per bottle. I believe they’ve significantly increased its production.
