Funny VWE is trying to blame Groupon when they are the ones that provided their inventory numbers. Also, the fact they are saying the Groupon chose what to replace it with is laughable as well.

Mystery solved. Turns out the culprits were... Laziness and incompetence! Excerpt from email I received from VWE: "Regretfully, Groupon oversold on the 2016 Syrah and the inventory has been depleted. Our Marketing team chose the 2018 Syrah as the comparable substitution. Our website also notes...

They(Qupe) removed the 2016 Bien Naciendo Hillside wine from their website. This is likely an isolated incident that will work itself out with minimal effort.

A case of Sauvignon Blanc was shipped Tuesday from Napa>Tracy>Vernon>LA and is now somewhere called Dateland, AZ. Looking at the temps of these cities it seems awfully hot to come to TN via this route.

My guess is on the #70 PN sampler reviewed by vinography. Interesting, their 2017 does have a 91 point score from WE - though I was expecting the 91 to come from elsewhere. Price matches, gravity fed winery matches. Tasting notes don't seem to line up that well though.
