Bumping this – opened a bottle of '02 LB a couple nights ago and it far exceeded my expectations, really overdelivered. OP's note that it was "surprisingly opulent" was spot on. One hell of a first Bordeaux for 2020!

Quilceda Creek 2007 Palengat – have only had their CVR before and I thought it was quite good for a big, oaky Washington cab. I was just added to the mailing list for 2020, so I'm gonna give the Palengat a shot to see if QC is worth the entry fee for me.

Drank a couple Washington cabs with some friends in NYC over the last week. 2014 Woodward Canyon Artist Series: A bit of a letdown. Some nice, round fruit but I found it lacking in acidity and a little uninteresting. Disappointing, as this was my first bottle of Woodward Canyon and I had high hopes....
