Re: Berserkers Video Meets - Schedule/Info inside
I'm in for this weekend. New to the meet ups but would love to participate. Friday would be best for me. Currently holding a ton of riesling (Wei Ku, Prum, Stein, Boundary Breaks) and a broad swath of southern italian reds.

Re: Thoughts on WSET Levels 1-3?
D. Lindlow - I am halfway through Level 2 as we speak. I'd highly recommend two things mentioned by previous posters: do not sign up for either level until you can go in person, and I'd encourage you to consider self study for Level 2. I don't feel that I'm getting a lot out of it. I've gone through...

Re: Charleston, SC recs
Husk for lunch is a great call. We went with 6 people and it was almost empty. The earlier you can go, the better. If you have time to scoot a bit north of the city, home team BBQ is a big spot with outdoor seating and would be great for the kids. Swing through Vom Fass if you're downtown on King St...

Hi Berserker crew - my fiancee and I are (tentatively) planning our honeymoon for May of 2021 in Portugal. I have a couple of questions to which I'm hoping to crowdsource some answers: 1. Has anyone booked through www.winetourismportugal.com? Anything to report, good, bad or ugly? 2. Any must visit ...

Re: Self education - where to next?
Thank you all! Anders, I put in a big order of classic Italian reds am certainly looking forward to tasting through them. Phil - do you get more out of putting two varieties next to each other, or really digging in on a certain area? For example, I have set up a couple of tastings, one that is four ...

Self education - where to next?
Hi Berserker crew - As I'm sure it has with many of you, COVID-19 has accelerated my nasty little wine habit. I'm probably 2 years "in the game" here, and I recently registered for WSET level 2 add more structure to my education. I'm also looking for some suggestions about how to set up si...
