I once went into a TW store to buy a dessert wine as a gift. i was IN the dessert wine section and wanted some information about a wine I had picked(can't remember what since it was about three+ years ago and I never went back). Is Rombauer a West Coast only phenom? It is almost never seen in NY (Manhattan) and did not know about it until I moved to La La Land.

How many different grape varieties have you drunk per CT classification?

Over 100 different grape varieties, but the oddest was the Longanesi, also called Burson from Emilia-Romagna, Italy. It was made by Leone Conti and the name of the wine was "Pis & Love." (Honestly!)

Edgar's B de E2 a Grenache /Syrah blend is a smooth blend of those grapes. They work very well together.
And, his CabRhone, (a down and dirty, but marvelous take on a Spanish curse word) really rocks.
Just as it says, it is a blend of Cabernet Sauvingon /Syrah/Grenache/Mourvedre.
