Nearly every bottle of my 09s leaked. Shipped in late winter, in styro, definitely never warm.
They fill the things so damn high.
My 15 Jayer/Rouget Ech leaked most recently shipped in cool weather. The air bubble is almost non-existent.

Comical. I got my 10s delivered from him through Crush. I looked back at the charges. Crush charged me 6.25 per bottle for Import, etc. Then I paid normal fedex to get them here.

Chris B - On average I pay 10-12 dollars per bottle for reefer from London/Beaune to my cellar/locker. $3 is not realistic for us. A little under 10 would be very good. I think the prices I pay are fair. 13 is not too ridiculous, actually, though as distasteful as it may be.

No doubt, Urasawa. You will have a blast. One of the few "uber" pricey meals we have had where, upon leaving, we wanted to make reservations for the next day.

I think there is a distinct difference between buying Bordeaux "Futures" EP and buying "pre-arrival" 89 HB, 95 Krug, 02 Salon, etc etc. They are not one and the same. I think there has been a change in the global marketplace for wine since PC started.

Paul, what exactly is the con? Virtually all 2009s and 2010s were delivered. The large majority of 2011s appear to have been delivered. It seems now there is a real plan to deliver 2012s. I've said before, if Maison Ilan is a Ponzi Scheme, then Ray is worse at Ponzi Schemes than at customer service...

I agree with Alan. They are really nothing alike. Hune is dry dry petrol - Gmax is tropical. My experiences fwiw. I like both, but would take Hune if I could have only 1.
