I did a Greer vertical in 2018. Roy, How long would you suggest for decanting the 2012? Interestingly, in both the 2018 and 2019 tasting, the 2012 had more structure than we expected for that vintage. I would recommend at least 2 hours, and maybe more. I know Rob likes to do a cold decant, which mi...

Also, top 10 and 17 producers represent 28.2% and 36.7% of our holdings, respectively. Saxum--Have been on the list since about the 2002 or 2003 ...

Todd,

If you don't mind older cabs (we find a lot of cabs like this to be on the later side but still within an enjoyable drinking window), I bet this one will show quite well. Even their regular Napa cab.

Not sure what your preferences are, but it's a gutsy to jump from grocery store to Musar. More than happy to be an enabler, though! I'd recommend an older vintage--say '99 if you can find it. Musar, even their whites, tend to do better with quite a bit of age. So, if a more recent vintage is more co...

We found Mr B to be interesting, but a bit jammy (of course, that could ease with a few more years of bottle age). We DID order a few more in the mixed cases that just arrived here, but quite like the Continuity line. Would be interested in your take.

These wines are polarizing, as you can see from some of the responses. I would suggest trying a couple of different vintages, not all 2011's, and a couple of different cuvees. I am a big Saxum fan, but 2011 was the one year I had mixed experiences. The '11 James Berry and Booker were each wonderful...
