Felt like revisiting this one last night. Decanted about four hours ahead.
This wine is tasting great, but has years of life ahead of it.
The “green“ notes are turning into more of a dusty, herbal quality. The fruit is wide open. It drinks great now, but definitely hold some if you can.

My impression (maybe Cameron can affirm) is that this label is aimed more squarely at the "premium" end.
This offering was very tempting, but I'm already in for 2 cases of his Cab. Fortunately, sounds like Cameron has other stuff coming, which will justify my irrational wine buying practices.

OK, bumping this because is actually DID reload! I think a lot of people here will appreciate these wines. Low-alcohol across the board, nice acidity, nice people as well. The 2017 SRV Zin (first I’ve opened from the new release) is lovely.

A nearby restaurant had a Syrah I loved, that nobody ever ordered off the list (you know, the old Syrah/syphilis thing). Anyway, over a few months I bought their entire supply from the wine director.

Not much info? I like to know a bit more than where the grapes came from and how much it costs. Do you understand how his model works? What sort of additional information are you looking for? He tells you the vintage, where the grapes come from, and gives you a tasting note (for what that’s worth)....

Enjoyed this one tonight. I’d say buy without hesitation if you’re looking for exactly what Jim describes. Light, good acidity, low ABV. Completely crushable. My only caveat would be that it is most enjoyable cool, not cold, so the Muscat character comes through.

What exactly does “coldest” mean? Lowest single temp yearly? Lowest average? Most days below a certain temp? Could mean many things.
