A bottle of this is the first wine I ever purchased on release with aging in mind...entirely based on published reviews, of course. I still have it, although it seems like it's time to get into it soon. Seems it's a good thing that my wife and I aren't exceptionally oak-averse.

Thanks for the update, Chris.

We finally got a chance to use the Libertés on a few different wines in the last week or two, and we've really enjoyed them - they worked well with both a crémant and a Vacqueyras last weekend, so that says something for their versatility.

Hmm, I picked up a couple of on-sale bottles of the 2010 last year. We haven't opened any, and while I've been expecting a new world aspect to it (which I'm ok with, to a point), I hope I don't find it like you found in the 2014.

I was at Costco this weekend and noticed that their KitchenAid Professional 6-Quart stand mixers are being sold off for $249.97. Grabbed a couple of the 2015 Lilian Ladouys while in over the weekend... I also picked up 2x 2011 Marqués de Riscal Rioja Reserva at $12 (temporary markdown for the next ~3 weeks). The best I've had are from Tercero and Paix Sur Terre...and for my money, Tercero is the one I've picked up multiple bottles of, both in red and rose form. I haven't had the chance to try Dirty & Rowdy or Tablas' single varietal version, but both are on my radar.
