Depressing (albeit measured) note on the 2010 Baudry - say it ain't so! I think we all loaded up on those beauties for all the right reasons. May need to check in on some myself.

I do my best to allocate to prevailing retail costs if possible, especially if there is a retailer carrying all the bottles on the mixed case, then I just allocate the discount pro rata. Wyncroft has some nice rieslings - when living in Chicago, I had these pretty often. Left Foot Charley's Pinot Blanc is one of my favorite guzzable summer wines, too.

Set a new record at my house yesterday (located in the hills to the west of Las Vegas) of 108.7. Woke up this AM at 5am and it was already 108 in Death Valley. Hoping the crops in CA make it through this heat!

1 bottle of the DRC Monty logged into CellarTracker. DRC did not produce their own Montrachet in 2016 due to the frost. Haven't seen any Montrachet offered anywhere. The harvest in Montrachet was so tiny in 2016 that DRC joined forces (and grapes) with 5 other domaines (or were there six?) incl. Comte Lafon and Dom.Leflaive ... and there is a combined Montrachet .... at around 6.000 € per bottle !!! Happy hunting ! ...

Had a nice glass of Springbank 10 last night. First time trying it and liked its tang and smoothness. I'm new to scotch with most of my experience with smokey/peaty distillers so this was a nice change.
