He doesn’t have to actually sell wine to anyone. The winery will run itself regardless. It’s a vanity bottle and it’s market is not for those that ask questions.

I’ve read snippets about the winery over the years, so I took a flyer on 3/4 case (mostly Sauvignon Blanc but a couple Chardonnay) Does anybody have any impressions or knowledge here?

For a large winery why is there basically no U.S. presence?

FWIW, DP wholesale is cheaper than European negotiants where CDC is cheaper in Europe. CDC has been cheaper than DP historically by $20 or more. I say wait. Wine.com has emailed me twice now that they don’t have bottles that I have on hold for October shipping. Once is understandable, but I’m starting to get frustrated. They followed up with an offer to substitute, but then charged me the difference.

6k cases would provide cash flow, but most of these are micro lots. Should be insignificant money in the scheme of things. (For most of the wineries that have been speculated)

If a wine was rated by WS that means it had to be bottled, labeled and submitted to them. He doesn’t buy bottled wine, right? Some Reviews are from Barrel. In theory winery could decide not to release this into distribution for whatever reason & CH just takes it, bottles it, markets & sells it out....
