Even if it hadn't been premoxed before it was Coravined, from posts here of Coravin users, it sounds like it could easily have been oxidized from sitting around for many months or years after a Coravin draw. It sucks to think that even if it was ok initially, that anyone would try to sell the rest ...

I’d suggest Nebbiolo with at least some age, like 10 years minimum?
How about a white category and Cabernet based one?

They’d love to have us, and we can use the private room.
Manager said he’d charge $5/bottle, so not horrendous.

I should be able to make it. I would rather not do Pinstripes as it is probably a worse or same version of Paul Martins. Sole and Divino would be fun. This was dteng’s house, so we were limited by his primitive equipment ;) Dan did the cooking, electric smoker at about 275 to 130, then seared on the gas Weber. Turned out perfectly medium rare. Also had Flannery hangers, which are always amazing. I think I pulled the Jorge out at about 127 then gr...

Surprised no one took pics of the meats, cheeses and bread apps...that was crazy good...and a sight to behold!
