~2-3 cases of mixed 2017 and 2018 low end PYCM bottlings. They are getting pricey indeed.

Spent a lovely day on the Cape to open up the summer house. Cracked a NV Jose Dhondt Rose and a 2018 Goodfellow PN Berserker Cuvée. Both hit the spot.

Nice one, Howard. I heard about this one from a friend in Meursault (rented his place, actually) - he said that Moreau did well in 2017 and really enjoyed the bourgogne. By the time I found it here in MA, it was closer to $35. Oh well - still a nice wine even that that price!

I had to bite --- Dhondt is my favorite grower champagne. Like you Warren, I loaded up on magnums of 2014s (I have 4) and haven't cracked them yet. The good thing about these magnums is that they do keep for a few days (if needed) using those stoppers, so my wife and I can easily polish one off in 2...

2013 Patrick Javillier Meursault Les Tillets - the more I drink of this producer, the more I fall in love. Wide open, round with excellent fruit with a touch of buttery minerality. Perhaps not carrying the chiseled acidity the strongest vintages provide, but a wonderful drink nonetheless.
