Been there and love the game. I have done my part to deplete the list. It's been awhile but from what I remember the hole in the list is Champagne. I like Brick and Fire too and the contrast of warm and bustling to Restaurant 301's cooler and quieter is welcome for me. I like to laugh loud. Enjoy yo...

That's great Robert. I am glad you enjoyed it. The more we age our wines the more I see how they benefit from the time and I only lament drinking most of them before they reached their peak. We are all learning together as our oldest commercial wine is only 12 years old. [cheers.gif]

Virtual Tasting- One from the other side. July 4th weekend.

My tasting partner suggested I try a Gerard Boulay Sancerre Chavignol. I ordered it weeks ago from a shop up in Oregon and figured it would be fine to ship from Oregon to No Cal in the summer. They held off due to temperatures and I ended up paying for 2 day air to get it in time. It did not show up...

Yes! San Sebastian is a great place for food, wine and beauty. I guess I got lucky because the weather was perfect when I was there last year in June. I loved Elkano, Azurmendi, Rekondo, and all the little places in between. We had some amazing aged Riojas off the list at Rekondo and I loved the fee...
