A few years ago a shop had several vintages for +/- $100 per bottle. I bought a 94 and it was really good. At the time my impression was that it was pretty subtle and elegant (Burgundian?!?!?) and has me keeping my eyes open for it again at a similar price. At $400 I'm not so sure.

2014-2015 I worked in the facility where Jason makes these wines. He's a super nice guy who is really enthusiastic and trying to make interesting wines from fun sites.

Of the producers I've been able to try 14s against 15s (including my employer) the 15s seem fresher and more energetic. Could be some bottle shock so maybe things will fill out but that's my impression as of now.

Sitting at a bar for dinner tonight I saw the lineup of Alipus.

They do different regional versions of mostly espadin but do have some blends/different varieties. It would be fun to sip a few different versions in the same night to compare (which I'm pretty sure I've done before...).
