Re: Offer letter timing

Randy,

Off the top of my head I believe Kongsgaard at least used to send out their mailer in June and both Jones and Switchback would send theirs in July at one point. Outside looking in I don't think it hurt them any.

For me it's a potato is some form or fashion. The old standby is a baked potato with real butter, sour cream, freshing fried whole bacon strips, etc... However, when I'm out at a steak house it's usually something like truffle mac and cheese.

Better yet try a REAL Dr. Pepper from Dublin, Texas in glass bottle made with real pure cane sugar. 8-) I thought it was Waco, TX? Waco is the home of Dr. Pepper. However, the bottling company in Dublin is the only bottling company in the U.S. that still bottles the original formula with real sugar...

Post people agree that Bottles (750) age better than halves (375) and that mags (1500ml) age better than 750, etc..... Using 2005 Lafite (and RMP) as an example. Drink date/range is 2020 - 2050 What would the "optimal range" be for the range of bottles? Is this "formula" applicable for all wines (i...

My first reaction was Zin or maybe new world syrah. That's all assuming you're dead set against an iced cold beer or sweet tea. :D I think it's gonna be a Carlisle Zin. I'm with Randy. I've always followed the maxim "If it takes more than an hour in a decanter, you opened it too soon." Now of course there's plenty of exceptions to that like some Oregon Pinots can show better with a 4 hour decant, really old Barolo show better with a slow-O for several hours, etc...
