Will have the video up when it is finished (we're still going, finishing up) but it's fascinating to me that Benoit stated that Coteaux Champenois is the 'future of Champagne'. That deserves its own thread/discussion!

Great note, and happy you had a good experience with the bottle. I wish the various Gagnards all shifted to Diam as there's some great wine and values in their various offerings. 2009 WBs have turned out really well I think, and good 1ers are hitting a lovely drinking window now. Had my ablation yesterday and was able to leave the hospital at 8pm so I didn't have to stay overnight (whew!)

Only side effects thus far (today, day after) are related to the intubation, I think. The wounds on both legs are holding up, taking off the bandages tonight, as directed

Absolutely kills for bacon. Great with broccoli and asparagus as well. For bacon, just cut into smaller pieces (3-4 pieces per bacon strip, let's say) and be sure to shake at least once during the process

Just had a practice session with Katie (who is just starting her 9th month of pregnancy!) and this is gonna be FUN!
