Canberra http://discountwines.com/ very quirky, sort of a dungy warehouse vibe, and they’ll bring out weird and wonderful stuff out from their well known cellars so you could stumble across some older gems.
Prince is the place I remember, I remember a well-designed and well-stocked store, but that was 13 years ago 
IIRC, it also has the salutary advantage of being fairly close to Arcand street and its string of mouthwatering pastry shops.
