95 vs 96 bordeaux?

I have some of each. Which year is drinking best now?

96 is drinking better right now for sure.

95 is a sterner, more tannic vintage which will probably end up great, but the upper tier wines are not really there yet. Not undrinkable, but not yet to their peak. If you’re going to try 95s, a longer decant is probably smart.

You’ll find a number of threads about those vintages, and a side-by-side tasting that was posted just a week or two ago. Hunt around with the search function if you want more detail.

I think the 95 St Emilions and Pomerols are good now.

In the Medoc I’d tilt toward consuming the 96’s over the 95’s.
