?1992 Rayas

A friend just brought over a bottle of 1992 Rayas for us to have.Would you decant it and give it air or would you pop and pour figuring it maybe some what over the hill.I know he has a wine fridge but I do not know the history of this bottle.

open it several hours in advance (just leave it … maybe taste a small amount and refill) -
then decant for 15-20 minutes before serving …

The 1992 is a really nice Rayas vintage … it´s definitely not great, but if it´s a well-stored bottle with good fill it can be a 89-91 point wine … really sweet and with good intensity.

How was it?
I still hope for a tasting note …
