So when you read a tasting note, what descriptors intrigue you enough to want to go out an purchase a bottle or two?

Layered, or layers of flavors; balance

horsey, barnyard, olives, meat, give me that funk!

balanced, ethereal

Gamey, beef blood, fresh.

Good QPR

Fruit forward, drinking well now, earthy, forest floor, teeth staining.

Cola, black raspberry, anise, layered, prime, wow.

Chalky minerals

Balanced, savoury, structured, elegant, complex, refreshing, focused, mineral, herbal, pencil box, forest floor, layered

(Not usually all at once!)

Just for fun, negatives:
Remarkably fresh for its age, massive black fruit, tropical fruit, leggy, “expect to taste…” (inside joke, a favourite phrase at the KGBO here indicating they haven’t actually tasted it)
