Good wine shops, South/West burbs Chicago

Im looking for a shop i can get a really nice wine $50-200 at a fair price but also with some age and rarity. Of course Binnys has great selection of 2013 onwards but i cant see anywhere to go for say a 1998 Modavi Reserve. There’s Knighsbridge and Flickinger up north so thats a ballache of a drive and some downtown like HDH retail but again nowadays its a nightmare getting in/out on 55

So are there any hidden stores in the Homewood-Orland-Palos-Lombard-Downers Grove-Countryside-Oakbook general areas

Mainstreet in Countryside has a pretty good selection of higher end California wines. There’s also a Binny’s in Willowbrook.

If you jump on the Eastbound Stevenson after 7 p.m. you can get in and out of the South Loop Binny’s pretty easily.

Chicago Wine Company but not sure where that is in relation. Bought many bottles from them over the years.

there is a Binnys in downers Grove where the former Sam’s was located. 355 and 22nd

+1 for The Chicago Wine Company. They are in Wood Dale, a bit off 290 near O’Hare. Need to pre-arrange pickup if you end up buying something as they are not a traditional retail shop.
