Had this wine over the weekend. Just the regular bottling. Wasn’t expecting much but was delicious. No bricking and many blended flavors.
I have had good luck with most of my older RM Napa bottles, not mind blowing but still very enjoyable. I still have a 76, 86 and 00
The ones that i have tasted have always been up to the expectations
I struck out twice on a 77 bottle for wife’s birth year wine. Bought from a retailer a year or so ago, so who knows provenance
Not a surprise to me.
Had the '85 a few months back. IMO, a few notches behind my experiences with the reserve. Good, but I wished I had paid the premium for the Reserve.
