Wines with stamina

I’m enjoying a glass of 2010 Albert Mann Riesling Schlossberg from a bottle opened last weekend.
Lovely persistent floral nose, citrus and baked apple mid palate, finish is slightly honeyed compared with the tighter, more mineral presentation when first opened.

I recently had a 2016 Metras Fleurie “Printemps” that the salesperson told me to drink soon: it was reductive with a sulphuric/burnt tire element upon opening which didn’t resolve until day three. It then showed cherry, strawberry, earth and forest floor notes, light bodied but again with good persistence, lasting well through day four. Intriguing stuff.
