    This is gorgeous wine. Fruits are ripe and luscious but there is such finesse and elegance here. You must let the wine come to you where you are treated to delicate spices, pure fruit flavours, exceptionally fine tannins and length to burn.

Could see '14 as a vinatgae that really suits their style.

Haven’t tried many recent releases of HOG, but have a lot of pleasant memories with many superb bottles of the '82, '86, '88 and '90 vintages over the years…

Often my proffered wine to Grange in many (older) vintages also.

One of my best wine experiences ever. I was invited to a lunch by the now late bob Bamsberg (a local sommelier) at Tru. We had several vintages of the HOG with the Mt. Edelstone. Fantastic.

This is the one Australian wine I wish to sample. Circumstances haven’t aligned. They will.
