Looking to pick up some good chardonnay if there are any deals to be had.
Chad
I think Ceritas Chardonnays are a good price point and excellent wines if you like Cali Chardonnay that isn’t oaky.

Get on the list for Kutch. Perhaps the best value Chard on earth IMO.
I often find Wind Gap chardonnays for <$30– outstanding QPR in that price range.
Spectrum’s current auction has a lot of young white burgundy lots in <$300 a case range.
Just picked 15 Mount Eden Chardonnay for $33.99
No better deal than that
Oregon- Vincent, Walter Scott, GoodFellow
California- Kutch, Arnot Roberts
Surely Kumeu River Estate Chardonnay is the only answer to this question…

second this.
Also Liquid farm can often be found <$30.
Didn’t we just have this thread a few weeks ago?
I’ll post it again. This one: https://www.matthiasson.com/wines/detail?item=2016-matthiasson-napa-valley-chardonnay-linda-vista-vineyard
Ryan C, like you, I would also say the Kutch Chard, yet that one is not going to sit in everyone’s wheel house, to an extent like the Matthiasson, for that matter. Both have high acidity, very little oak, and lots of pure Chardonnay. That ain’t gonna spin the wheels of some of the crowd.
At that price, is that the Edna Valley?
All the time. ALL the time.

weird, you seemed to have meant to say Walter Scott but wrote Kutch
No sir. Real Deal. I felt dirty buying it and can get as much as I want.
Look at premier cru Chablis from Christian Moreau. At a higher end (about $80), Bouchard’s 2016 Meursault Perrieres is fabulous.
Haven’t tried it yet, but someone else told me Le P’Tit Paysan Jack’s Hill.
