2015 Chateau-Fuisse Tete de Cru

Picked this up on sale, don’t remember the price but it wouldn’t have been much over $30.

Light gold color, correct. Pleasant aromas of moderate intensity feature lime, cactus flower and a touch of honeysuckle, nicely ripe. The flavors follow the aromas, less of the cactus flower, now also some notes of pear and casaba melon. This medium in body and moderate in intensity, a pleasant, very well balanced glass, but I had hoped for a little more power and persistence. Rated 88, a point or two of improvement possible over the next 2 - 4 years, I will pick up a few more bottles and hope for the best.
