– Coravin pour, but pretty sure I got the first pour out of a bottle that had just been opened; the pour sat in the glass for about 1 hour before initial taste –
– tasted non-blind over approx. 1 hour –
NOSE: brooding; tar; dark cherries; gentle oak; a touch floral. Overall, young, tight, and apparently complex.
BODY: dark ruby color of medium depth; medium-light bodied.
TASTE: elegant; tar; dark-fruited; young; tight; medium+ to high acidity; time will treat this nicely; seems wasteful to drink this now. I would love to see this 20 years from now.
