16 percent ABV. This is a big wine, but not sweet and saturated like so many with that high of ABV. Lovely dark fruits and kitchen spice. The finish seems short without the sweet saturation but the fruit and spice linger for 30 or more seconds when you pay attention. Carrie put on a pasta sauce this morning to serve with Penne pasta. The Triga should hold its own and compliment the pasta. Similar to El Nido Clio without the sweetness.
