Today I purchased my 2016 allocation of Realm Cellars “The Bard” and was offered and purchased one bottle of “The Absurd”. Has anyone here sampled “The Absurd”? 2015 reviews on CT are quite good. I realized this is a different vintage, but from what I understand 2016 was a good year in Napa.

Bought 3 Bards and 3 Tempests. The Absurd has exceeded my desire to pull out my wallet. Lots of other wines in the Spring!
$575 for the Absurd. seems…Absurd to me

I put in a wish request for 1 bottle of Absurd. If I get it, great. If not, hopefully 2018!
The current release is for the '16 Absurd, rated 99 on WA. '12-'15 were given 100 scores so this one is clearly inferior.
I can’t justify $500 for a bottle of wine. These sell for $700+ aftermarket so someone could flip these but is it really worth the effort?
Jeb gave the ‘16 a 100. Do they actually “sell” for $700+ or are they just listed at that price?
