FANTASTIC 'Destination Awards' for Napa and Sonoma (great for planning a trip!)

I wanted to share this, as it was forwarded to me and I think it’s a great guideline for those planning visits to Napa and Sonoma, and frankly, I agree with most of them (for those I’ve been to). CellarPass did a great job on this list, IMHO

Cut and paste, with pics of each, since I can’t embed it in the same code they did:

The 2019 voting season was intense

The CellarPass Annual Destination Awards competition was created to provide the public an opportunity recognize their favorite wine country destinations that raise the bar when it comes to providing the best possible hospitality experience. More than 150,000 travelers and industry professionals were invited to vote between July 18th and September 4th, 2019. And wow, did the voting get exciting this year!

Over 75 U.S. and Canada-based destinations were nominated in nine categories: Best Unique Tasting Experience; Most Friendly & Knowledgeable Staff; Best Wine & Food Pairing; Best Wine Education Experience; Best Hidden Gem, Best Romantic Destination, Best Live Experience, Best Tour & Tasting, and new for 2019, Most Beautiful Destination. 2019 proved to be the most competitive year to date, with just a few votes making the difference between a win and runner up.

Voting was intense as the winning positions changed throughout the last day over and over again. Once the voting ended and the results tallied, the competition between distinguished wineries across the U.S. resulted in five winners from the Napa Valley and four from Sonoma County.

And the 2019 winners are…
