TN: 2015 Coche-Dury Meursault 1er Cru Caillerets

  • 2015 Coche-Dury Meursault 1er Cru Caillerets - France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Meursault 1er Cru (9/29/2019)
Has some petrol reduction and the sun drenched fruit quality of the vintage along with masses of Coche dry extract. It is deep, dense and sappy, with explosive power and a touch of hazelnut cream and some aniseed. It is so long on the finish and far too young, but we enjoyed it thoroughly.

Nice one mate!

Was going to say where did you find that here, as we just never see it, until I remembered you are away!

I was lucky enough to taste a brilliantly persistant Coche-Dury Corton-Charlemagne 2015 at the domain in november 2017 : 19/20

He did well in 2015 , a relief to see that Rafael is doing well . I like your description of dry extract , that’s exactly what I taste .

Raphaël’s Puligny Enseignères 2015 is excellent too … ripe, precise, long and mineral (depth of focus)
