TN: 2004 Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt Josephshöfer Riesling Kabinett

2004 Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt Josephshöfer Riesling Kabinett - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (10/17/2019)
About a year since my last bottle, and this one is flat out magical. It is perfect. A combination of burnished tree fruit, lemon cream, nutmeg spice, ginger and any number of other essences, it has endless layers of complexity. This does not do it any kind of justice. No words can do that.

Mind blown.

I had that once and totally loved it.

I think this producer is sometimes a bit underrated. These particular wines are outstanding. .

I find them uneven, but when they are on…

I have been drinking the 2001 Spatlese version of this same wine over the last few years. Last opened a bottle 1 week ago. Drinking very well but no rush, another tick for the 2001 vintage!
