2018 Mountain Tides Petite Sirah California - USA, California, San Francisco Bay, Contra Costa County (11/9/2019)
My first wine from this producer, who makes only Petite Sirah. A great first impression. Needs a bit of time to open up, but shows lively dark fruit, strawberry, coffee, garrigue. Overall impression is a medium-weight young wine that drinks great right now (would fill in anywhere a good Beaujolais would work), but could likely age 1-3 years with no problem.
