2016 and 2017 Northern Rhone weekend. 2016 Xavier Gerard Landonne 2016 Allemand Reynard etc

What a weekend. And it is only half finished. Same with the wines.
The 2016 Allemand Reynard is probably the best young Allemand I have had. Multilayered and still very focused.
Need 25 years
2017 Xavier Gerard Landonne is along with 2015 Jamet the best young Cote Rotie for years. It is singing. Much louder than the 2017 Cote Rotie, which is, however remarkably open to drink
The 2017 Gonon is waiting for tonight with the leftovers. Gonna be tough

Thanks for the notes! Absolutely love the 2017 Gonon. You’re in for a real treat!

Sweet, mine just arrived! Maybe a Sunday night poppage. Love Gonon.

The 2017 Gonon was slightly more deep and fragrance full than when I tasted it at release
The Allemand is really shining. Will be a masterpiece
The Xavier Gerard Landonne offers all you can desire from a young Cote Rotie. It is a wow wine. Will keep a sip for Tuesday

The 2017 Xavier Gerard Cote Rotie is very much alive after 6 days open in the fridge
Lovely perfumed and fully flavored
Love if as much as the 2015 Burgaud

Please tell us all how to rotate pic??!!

Claus, where is the Champagne? Dude. Is that in the other half of the weekend?

Man. I love the LaLa from xaviar gerard. Such an incredible wine

It ended up being more enjoyable AND promising than the Allemand.
They are in the same price slot here in EU

Next weekend is Champagne Weekend

So hard to find Xavier Gerard La Landonne.

I did the 15s side by side - Gerard LaLa and the Allemand Reynard, I felt the same as you did.

Love to try the 15 La La

I passed on that La La, will rethink!

never listen to papa charlie

755 bottles total? Wtf how does one even source that?

Be really, really, really, ridiculously good looking.

But I’m already doing that!

Not true… Fu gets these…
