2016 Pecchenino Dogliani Superiore Sirì d’Jermu - Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Dogliani Superiore (11/18/2019)
Opened at restaurant ($5 corkage). Not decanted. 100% Dolcetto from a single South/Southwest facing vineyard. I haven’t had this wine since the 1999 vintage. I really should revisit this wine more often. A soft and well rounded wine with abundant red fruit and a slight smokiness. Elegant and feminine in style. Just a pleasure to drink and an excellent deal at $20. 92 points.
