Looks like Zachys has a pretty good half case Champagne deal today.
$39 a piece for LR Collection 242 is not bad. Just wish it didn't cost over $30 to ship to CA.

Sometimes I wonder if Zachys makes more money in shipping or in wine. A case of 242 including tax and shipping to TX totals at $600 so effectively $50/bottle. A few months ago I bought 10 bottles from Vivino, and with a $75 off coupon and shipping included, it was $474 so a few dollars less than the seemingly cheap price initially from Zachys. I have tons of unfinished shopping carts at Zachys, simply because their shipping rates to TX are pure violence.

Great deal if you are local though!

Bought some Bollinger Brut Rose for well under market at Wine.com. Decided to use the $100 off $300 and not wait for better cashback. Haven't seen one of those coupons in a while and didn't want it to expire on me.

I pulled trigger as well to use the 100/300 on Grivot and some 19s from Mongeard Mugneret that was competitively priced even before 36% off (added capital one 6%).

FYI Vivino has a mystery cab offer up that appears to be 2016 Beringer Private Reserve cab (based on review excerpt from the email). With the 20% off and 8% Rakuten that's about $74 per, pretty big discount to best available online. Usually save my pricier purchases for Bordeaux but thinking about this one.

For those who do the Citi Merchant Offers, a Total Wine $20 off $100 purchase showed up in one of my accounts. These are less reliable for triggering than Amex Offers, and the typical Citi rep has no idea on how to help if something goes wrong, or fix it. They can be stacked with TW's own coupons, but of course the main issue is that most of TW's (discountable) inventory is that its proprietary co-op grade wine, priced as if its reputable, branded bottlings.

The Zachys 6-pack sale has a couple really good deals, but I'd highly recommend the Le Prieure 2018 6 packs at $45 a bottle.

Completely agree with your Citi Offer evaluation - I have tried two different offers from them in the last 6 months and neither triggered for me. Citi is 0 help. YMMV.

Below is from the Vivino email a couple days ago...the Suckling quote / rating (and other clues) = Beringer PR

👉 99/100 "Breathtaking," "...shoots way out at the finish" -James Suckling,
👉 A 4.6 ★ red (from 300+ Vivino user ratings)
👉 (5.0.★): "the best vintage I’ve tasted. " -Vivino user Lucas B.
👉 Iconic Napa estate winery
👉 A 'back up the truck' 43% discount off the winery price

The problem is that they are basically run by Mastercard, and Citi tech is sort of kludged onto whatever is going on there. I guess I would say if there is something one would might buy at TW, and has an offer, try it...and don't be sad if it doesn't trigger.

Amex is really in a class of its own on these, both reliability and quality.

Not there anymore, was on Vivino $149*0.72 after 20% + 8% discount. Great find (I got last two, but I'm sure other benefited, thanks for sharing, Peter!)

I also got 1999 Suduiraut .375 for 25=35*0.72 with the same deal which is still available. No shipping cost made this attractive to me even if similar prices are available elsewhere.

I did my taxes on TurboTax and for some reason they sent me a WDC promo code when I was done! So this code wins the award for the best consolation prize for doing taxes:
50ROKTWINE 50 off 200 (not to be confused with 50ROKT)

Bonus tip: I'm not familiar with the wine, but the pricing on the 2015 Ca' Rome' Barolo Rapet (NY warehouse) looks compelling. Limited notes on CT, but appears to be sourced from Ceretta vineyard. Anyone know more about it?

So following up on this: on the big 30% day, my effective realized rate ended up being 24%. shipments that were split for fulfillment (not at my request or anything) as well as generic tracking issues caused the decline. It was still a good deal, but more akin to a Costco managers special, than a true steal. At least items in question were new release, quasi desirable wines (for me).

Just email RMN (customercare@support.retailmenot.com) if there were mistakes. The reason RMN is the best cash back site IMO is because they have the best customer service, and they have always fixed any errors in my experience. Just make sure to send them documentation of the order.

that 24% was the result after doing the follow up with RMN. I had a 33% 'tracking properly' rate. For the most part I have not had too many issues with any of these portals, maybe a couple each year tops.

The only ones to not come through for me are the futures purchases, and today is 45 days for me, so I'm going to submit a few requests. I've not had issues getting this credit in the past.

**Edit - I've already heard back regarding my 3/12 purchases and been credited for both futures purchases.**

I know this isn't a terrific price, but it's still WS low from what I can see. WDC just posted 2008 Dom Perignon Rose for 449.97, but it allows 10% off codes to work bringing price down to 404.97 pre tax. Add in 8% cash back from CapitalOne and you can get this for $400 shipped after tax.

Thank you. Do you know when these 20% off coupons expire? There are a few good deals but you have to really dig to find wines that are already on sale.

Thank you. Do you know when these 20% off coupons expire? There are a few good deals but you have to really dig to find wines that are already on sale.

first month of the quarter... pretty sure they tend to hit it the hardest in the 3rd month of the quarter to boost sales and traffic metrics. the first month has seemed very slow in general over the last year at least

Can get some great deals with AMEX Offers, combined with Rakuten 10% cashback as AMEX MRs, Wine.com gift cards from eBay or Raise, and Wine.com Codes. Lots of stacking.

Total Wine has 10% cash back at topcashback, plus they have a 25% (added to the cart, no coupon) for French/Champanhe/Sparkling on the 'winedirect' category...

Toby P wrote: April 22nd, 2022, 9:09 am FYI Vivino has a mystery cab offer up that appears to be 2016 Beringer Private Reserve cab (based on review excerpt from the email). With the 20% off and 8% Rakuten that's about $74 per, pretty big discount to best available online. Usually save my pricier purchases for Bordeaux but thinking about this one.

https://www.vivino.com/US-CA/en/napa-va ... editorNote

Didn’t see email. What makes people think this is the Beringer PR?
Below is from the Vivino email a couple days ago...the Suckling quote / rating (and other clues) = Beringer PR

👉 99/100 "Breathtaking," "...shoots way out at the finish" -James Suckling,
👉 A 4.6 ★ red (from 300+ Vivino user ratings)
👉 (5.0.★): "the best vintage I’ve tasted. " -Vivino user Lucas B.
👉 Iconic Napa estate winery
👉 A 'back up the truck' 43% discount off the winery price
My bottles arrived today. Confirming that Toby's guess was accurate!

15% off on all Wachau wines at Weygandt (how's that for alliteration?) with code WACHAU15. Good selection of Hirtzberger and Pichler.

I also got that WineAccess Amex deal. But nothing in their inventory ever excites me. More Laherte, I guess.

Not a bad idea, but not my thing.

There are worse problems to have than more Laherte! Love their BdB nature.

Also, not sure if they still have it but the ‘11 Calabretta VV is really good.

TWENTYOFF 20 off 50
TWENTYOFF expired when I tested it today. It was still live as of a day or so ago.

Surprising as I would have thought I'd used this one already, but Helloapp20 worked today for me on the APP for $20 off $50 on WDC.
