Bay area wine store recommendation

Hi, could someone recommend a good wine store in the Bay area? Flying in from NY today and would like to grab a bottle for a friend’s party. Thanks!

K&L. One in San Francisco and another in Redwood City. Both have free parking. SF one is right off the freeway.

Lots of them, which part of the Bay Area will you be? K&L in Redwood City or SF is great of course. Total Wine in several areas with nice stuff, and lots of smaller wine shops in various towns… help us help you

K&L, Flatiron, the wine club, winehouse SF, artisan wine depot, prime cellar. There are many.

All of the above, plus Arlequin in Hayes Valley

Artisan Wine Depot in Mountain View.

What town will be most convenient for you?

K & L is the top, but if inconvenient there are fine local shops!

The Wine Club: “After January 18th the wine store at the current location, 953 Harrison St. will be closed permanently.“

It’s moving to a new location.

Flatiron

My friend Cara and her partner Simi run a shop in South Mission (SOMA?) called DecantSF which has interesting selections. Worth checking out if you’re in or close to the neighborhood.

Thanks all! Ended up going to K&L in Redwood City and loved it. Definitely better price than NYC…
