Checking in on the first of four bottles. This is delightful. Beautiful floral and red-fruited aromatics, with a distinct earthiness as well. More red fruits on the palate, with characteristic Nuits iron and a hint of spice that belies this vineyard’s proximity to Vosne. Grippy tannins and notable acidity prove this has a long life ahead. Like many 14s, an absolutely transparent, classic, and beautiful wine.
