Thank you all for the support and comments.
Re: allocations, we do our best to offer a consistent amount of wine to those who have supported the project the longest.
With 2020 we return to 2 releases a year, so there will be 7 more wines in the fall.
Re: Trousseau. The 2018 Trousseau appeared to be the best Trousseau to date. Unfortunately it had an irreversible unintentional addition of a large amount of Napa Valley Petite Syrah which rendered the wine unrecognizable as Sonoma Coast Trousseau.
Fall wines to be released
2018 Amador County Chenin blanc
2018 Contra Costa County Red Table Wine
2018 Soberanes Syrah- Santa Lucia Highlands
2018 Enz Mataro- San Benito County
2018 Lodi Zinfandel “Kirschenmann”
2018 Besson Grenache- Santa Clara County
2018 Coombsville Chardonnay- Haynes Vineyard.

Again,
Thank you for the support and feedback.
Best,
Tegan
This both makes me cry for joy about a 2nd 2020 release and in sorrow over the 2018 Trousseau, which was apparently murdered by errant Petite Syrah.

My general dislike of Petite Syrah has officially transitioned into overall loathing.

I just checked my allocation again and it is now showing another bottle of Chenin available to order. Anyone else have new bottles available now?

Added the three total I ordered to give me a six pack. Makes me feel better about paying to ship since the S/H didn’t go up with three extra bottles.

Got mine yesterday...Really want to open the Coombsville Merlot. Don't think I've ever had a Merlot made by Tegan or a 12.9% ABV Napa Valley Bordeaux varietal. Paul Hobbs used to make a Merlot from the same Michael Black vineyard years ago that was delicious!

Cheers [cheers.gif]

Might be off base here, but I think the Coombsville Merlot is the same source that Les Lunes helped revitalize recently, or at least the same one they're using for their new varietal Merlot. When I tried it out of barrel last summer, it blew my freaking head off. Incredible depth and balance. Can't wait for that Les Lunes to release as well.

Popoed a 2017 Amador Chenin tonight to make room for some 18’s. Corked. Ugh! Had an ‘18 Derivative (Stelvin) instead.

Shipment arrived, opened a 2018 Sonoma County Chardonnay to celebrate COVID-19.

Oh man.

Let me just say that Tegan knows how to make a damn fine Chard.

The Sandlands team was quick to respond and able to re-route for pickup. The styrofoam was nearly obliterated and the UPS Store retaped the boxes so I could bring home. Now it’s tough to hold off. Drank some 2014s recently, all stellar.
